The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #2 – Beast To Clea released by Marvel on September 25, 1985. The Handbook provides character histories and power descriptions for Marvel’s characters.
Note
The entry for the Beast has a main image of him in his blue, furry form, but by the time the series was collected in TPB form, he had resumed his more humanoid form in X-Factor Vol 1. The image was altered for the reprint. Mark Gruenwald’s editorial in issue 6 would reveal that he had opted not to reveal the upcoming change to Beast in this issue.
